Report a post or an account

In the app, tap the button on any post or on someone's profile, then Report. Pick a reason and submit. The post disappears from your feed immediately, and we review every report within 24 hours.

You can also block anyone from the same menu. Blocking hides you from each other everywhere in Tapas and removes any follow between you. Blocked accounts are listed under Settings → Safety → Blocked accounts, where you can unblock.

If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] with a link or a screenshot and we will act on it the same way.

Copyright and recipe attribution

Recipes imported from a link keep the original source name and URL, and Tapas links back to it. If your recipe or photo appears in Tapas in a way you did not intend, report the recipe in the app (⋯ → Report recipe → "Stolen recipe or photo") or email [email protected] with the URL of your original and where it appears. We remove infringing content promptly.

Delete your account

Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, recipes, preferences, chats, photos and posts. Recipes already shared with a household stay with that household. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

Subscriptions

Tapas Premium is $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year, billed through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel it in Settings → Premium → Manage subscription, or in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs out. We cannot issue refunds, those go through Apple.

Common questions

A recipe link imported badly

Some sites block automated readers entirely. When that happens the import tells you rather than guessing. Copy the recipe text and use Paste instead, which works on anything.

Can I turn off the AI?

Yes. Settings → AI → off. That deletes your saved preferences and chat history and disables chat, auto-tagging, import checking and ingredient matching. Photos and captions you post to friends are still screened for safety, that is a condition of posting publicly, not an AI feature.

Is Tapas a nutrition or health app?

No. Tapas is not a nutritionist, dietitian or medical service, and nothing in it is medical advice. Preferences you save (including allergies) are used to tailor suggestions, not to keep you safe. Always check ingredients yourself.
